  In Loving Memory

This site is dedicated to our loved ones who are watching over us from heaven...

May's Mommy ... keeper of the clan.

My best friend and the most beautiful, giving person I knew...

in every imaginable way.  She touched our souls with her

boundless love and left her indelible imprint in the memories of

all those who knew her.  She will forever remain in our hearts.

This picture was taken the year before we lost her to

cancer... just a few months before her 50th birthday.

This one was taken while we were living in Tokyo. I was about 10
and still recall admiring her as she posed... wondering why I didn't
get her dimple... thinking how lucky I was to have a Mommy like her
...and wishing that I would grow up to be like her.

Frank's Dad...

The quiet, strong man with a heart of gold.

The best index to a person's character is how he treats people who

can't do him any good... how he treats people who can't fight back.

Dad never asked for much... and he was always the first

to lend a helping hand, no matter how difficult the task.

Even in heaven, I'll bet that he's busy...

repairing the stars, oiling the gates, smoothing the way...

so that things will be just right when we see him again.

He was 66 when this photo was taken,

not long before he passed away.

Dad joined the Chinese Air force and received his training
in the U.S.  This one was taken when he was about 29...
right around the time he met Frank's Mom in Shanghai...
and won her heart.

Great joys make us love the world. Unbearable grief compels us to understand it better.

Life is so short... and forgetting pain takes forever.  Let us be reminded to cherish every moment of our lives...

and to tell those close to us how much we love them.

I was going through my diaries and came across a poem I wrote in the early '80's for our beloved son.
Our baby boy went to heaven too soon after he came into our lives.
For too long, we have mourned in silence, not having the courage to express our grief openly.

I would now like to share this with you...
